Shipping & Delivery Policy

Muslim Reads Ltd (England & Wales, company no. 16304288) sells two kinds of orders: services carried out on your behalf in Makkah and Madinah (Waqf, gifts, Qurbani, Damm and similar), and physical books. This policy explains how each is delivered.

Part A: Services in Makkah & Madinah (Waqf, gifts, Qurbani, Damm)

1. Nothing is posted to you

These are services our own team carries out in Makkah and Madinah in your name, or in the name of the person you choose. No parcel is shipped, so there is no shipping charge, no courier and no tracking number. At checkout these orders show "Shipping not required".

2. How your order is delivered

Your order is complete when our team has carried it out in Makkah or Madinah. We then email you:

Photo or video proof of your order being carried out, and
a completion certificate with a unique reference number, which you can check at muslimsreads.com/pages/verify.

This email goes to the address you used at checkout. You can also follow your order's progress at account.muslimsreads.com by signing in with that email (a one-time code, no password).

3. Timelines

Order confirmation and initial certificate: emailed straight after checkout.
Distribution: orders are carried out in our regular distribution rounds, normally on Mondays and Fridays. Your order joins the next available round after it is placed. Depending on the time of your order and the size of the round, this may be the one after.
Proof and completion certificate: our media team prepares the proof after the distribution, usually within 2 to 7 days. Larger rounds are prepared and sent one by one, so customers in the same round may receive their proof on different days.
Busy seasons: during Ramadan, Hajj, Dhul Hijjah and Eid, rounds are larger and timelines may be longer. Qurbani is performed on the days of Eid al-Adha.

These are typical timelines, not guaranteed delivery dates. Your order is carried out as described whether it goes in the first round or the next one.

4. If you haven't received your proof

Please check your spam or promotions folder first, then email us at team@muslimsreads.com or emuslimreads@gmail.com with your order number. We will resend your proof, or give you an update on your order. If we have not completed your order as described, our Refund & Cancellation Policy applies: we will re-perform it or refund you.

Part B: Physical books

1. Order processing

All physical book orders are processed within 1–3 business days.
Once processed, your order is handed to our shipping partners.

2. Shipping rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout from your delivery address and your chosen shipping method. We currently offer Standard, Expedited and International shipping.

3. Estimated delivery times (after dispatch)

United States: 5–10 business days
United Kingdom: 7–12 business days
Europe: 7–14 business days
International orders: 10–20 business days

Delivery times may vary due to customs processing, courier delays or seasonal factors.

4. Tracking information

Once your book order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.
Tracking updates may take 1–2 business days to appear after dispatch.

5. Shipping restrictions

We do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Please make sure your shipping address is correct to avoid delays.

6. Returns and damages

For returns, refunds and damaged items, please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: faulty or damaged books can be returned within 30 days, and you can cancel an unused book order within 14 days of delivery. Email emuslimreads@gmail.com with your order number and a photo and we'll help.

7. International customs and duties

For international book orders, customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on your country's rules. These are not included in our prices and are the customer's responsibility.
