Makkah & Madinah Services Terms
Last updated 25 June 2026
These cover our gifting, Waqf and sacrifice services carried out in Makkah and Madinah. They sit alongside our Terms of Service, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. Our role
When you order, you appoint Muslim Reads Ltd to arrange and carry out the service on your behalf, through our own team on the ground in Makkah & Madinah.
2. What you receive
- Gifts (Qurans, prayer mats, water, dates, meals, umbrellas): we purchase the item and give it to worshippers in Masjid al-Haram and/or Masjid an-Nabawi on your behalf. Nothing ships to you.
- Waqf (prayer chairs, wheelchairs): we place the item in the Haram for worshippers to use, dedicated in your chosen name.
- Sacrifice (Damm, Kaffarah, Fidyah, Sadaqah year-round; Udhiyah / Hajj Hady in season): carried out in Makkah following Islamic guidelines, with the meat distributed to those in need there.
Every order includes a certificate and photo or video proof by email.
3. Proof & timing
Proof shows the distribution, placement or sacrifice your order was part of.
- Gifts: distributed within about 1–2 weeks; proof follows within 24 hours of distribution.
- Sacrifice: usually completed within 24–48 hours, proof shortly after.
- Udhiyah and Hajj Hady are only available and carried out on their valid days around Dhul-Hijjah.
4. Dedications
You may dedicate in your own or a loved one's name (including someone who has passed). The name appears on your certificate and confirmation. By adding a name you confirm you're entitled to use it.
5. Availability & substitution
If a specific item or option is temporarily unavailable, we may provide an equivalent of the same value and purpose, in keeping with the intention of your order, so it isn't delayed.
6. Religious suitability
You're responsible for choosing the service that fits your need. Udhiyah is only valid on the days of Eid al-Adha; outside those days, sacrifice is carried out as Sadaqah or the relevant expiation, not Udhiyah. If unsure which applies (e.g. Damm or Kaffarah for a Hajj/Umrah matter), please consult a qualified scholar before ordering.
7. Fees & nature of the service
Your gift carries the spiritual reward of Sadaqah — but in legal and tax terms these are commercial services we carry out for a fee, not charitable donations to a registered charity, and they are not tax-deductible. Your fee covers the item plus the cost of carrying it out (purchasing, logistics, our ground team, filming, certification). Muslim Reads Ltd is a private limited company.
8. If something goes wrong
If we can't complete your order as described, or you don't receive your proof, tell us within 14 days of receiving (or expecting) it and we'll re-perform it or refund you — see our Refund Policy.
